E-mail marketing is one of the most valuable communication channels you have. You're writing to people who gave you their e-mail address themselves, because they bought from you or want to know what you're up to. And unlike ads, it's yours. No ad auction can push up the price and no algorithm change can switch it off. In practice, that can be a regular newsletter, a sale campaign, a welcome e-mail after sign-up or a reminder about a forgotten basket. For online shops it drives sales. For B2B companies it keeps them on the radar between contracts. On average, we send over half a million newsletters a month for our clients.
Before we send anything, we look at what you have. Your database, your tool, your domain and the e-mails you have sent so far. We clear out the dead contacts, segment the live ones and work out who gets what, and when. You can also order the audit on its own and carry out the plan with us or in-house.

Newsletters & campaigns
Regular newsletters and seasonal sequences around Black Friday, public holidays or sales. We create the copy and design, and test subject lines and send times along the way. You approve, we keep the rhythm going, so the newsletter doesn't only turn up before Christmas.
03
Automation
Welcome sequences, abandoned basket reminders, add-on offers after a purchase and a nudge for anyone who hasn't ordered in a while. For B2B companies, that might mean enquiry follow-ups or service reminders. They run on their own and keep earning, even when no one is looking after them. According to a 2025 Sherpas study, only a quarter of Czech online shops follow up on abandoned baskets.
04
Measurement & reporting
We link your e-mails to orders (or enquiries, for B2B) and to analytics. Your monthly report shows revenue from e-mail, return on investment (ROI), the cost per order or enquiry and how your database is growing. Plus what we'll do differently next month.

Common questions
We only have two thousand contacts. Is it worth it?
Often, yes. E-mail marketing can pay off even with a smaller database. It depends on your type of business. In B2B, two thousand contacts can be plenty to win regular contracts, while an online shop selling cheaper products needs more. Order value and how well your website converts matter too. We start with e-mail automation and begin collecting new contacts straight away. During the audit, we work out what your database could earn you.
Who can we e-mail without consent?
Under Czech law, only your own customers, and only with offers for your own similar products. They must be able to opt out when they buy and in every e-mail after that, easily and free of charge. Everyone else has to opt in beforehand, and you need to be able to prove it. There is no exception for B2B, so company addresses found online or bought lists are off limits without consent. We set it all up so it would stand up to an inspection by the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection.
Won't our e-mails end up in spam?
Not if everything is set up properly. We verify your domain with SPF, DKIM and DMARC and keep clearing out inactive addresses, which do the most damage to your sender reputation and deliverability.
How often should we send a newsletter?
We set the sending frequency after the audit, based on your business and how subscribers respond. We look for a rhythm that brings in revenue without wearing out your customers. As a rough guide, online shops usually send a newsletter once a week to once a fortnight, plus seasonal campaigns. With a very wide product range, sending more often can make sense. B2B companies usually do fine with once every two to four weeks.
How do we know it's working?
At the start, we agree on key performance indicators (KPIs) that we both track. Typically revenue or enquiries from e-mail, return on investment and database growth. We review them in a monthly report and work to improve them month by month. We track open and click rates too, as supporting metrics.
Ecomail, SmartEmailing or Mailchimp?
The one that suits your business best. What matters is whether you need a CRM integration, how complex your current setup is and whether your current tool is missing anything.
Can it connect to Shoptet or another e-commerce platform?
Yes. Shoptet, the leading Czech e-commerce platform, has a ready-made add-on for both Ecomail and SmartEmailing, and we connect other platforms through their API. Orders and products then flow into your automations on their own.
Who writes the copy and does the design?
Whatever suits you. We can take over the full management of your e-mail marketing, from strategy through copy and design to sending, so all you do is go through the reports and next steps with us. Some clients supply the copy and design themselves, and we take care of templates, sending and measurement.
Can we run it ourselves once it's set up?
You can. First we set up the database, templates and automation. Then we hand everything over and train your team, or stay on as consultants, helping you evaluate results and spot what to improve. Even so, most clients leave it all to us, so it's run professionally and their time is free for other things.
